もうお察しのとおり、わたしがビートルズのことを書く時は、ネタ枯れということで!?　音楽マスコミもですね、困った時のビートルズ頼みというのは昔から。そんなことかどうか知りませんが、「レコード・コレクターズ」誌も、これでもかといわんばかりにビートルズ・ソロ「50 BEST SONGS」までやってしまった。さらに、ここ3ヵ月の特集をまとめて、「ビートルズ名曲ベスト100」なる増刊号まで出版するらしいですぞ!!　個人的には結構うれしいけど、この出版不況の中、いまだにビートルズは救世主のようですね。最近の若いロック・ファンの中にはビートルズのどこがすごいのか、ということがわからない人達もいるようです。そういう方は、この事実を見て欲しい。1バンドのことをネタに生きている人達が今でも数多くいることを。こんなグループはそうはいないはず。しかし、それもこれも基本は音楽。これを機会にあらためて（ほとんどいつもだけど）ビートルズ関連の楽曲を聞くとやっぱりいい。初めて聞いた時よりもっといい!!　だから増刊号も買ってしまう羽目になりそうなわたしです!!!
